I think there should be like a 10 second timer to cap your skills, or something similar.

Well, the only time that you would lose out on loot due to a cutscene is if it moves you some distance. End of mission lets you chose to take any items that are still reserved for you to pickup

Markis wasn't a problem for capping Barrage... or did all 4 Jade Armour guards appear before him at one point? All you do now is kill him and 2 more guards appear giving you plenty of time.

Things like WoH from the Monk boss in Thirsty River or the very last boss on Ring of Fire, so annoying if you wanted there skills because it triggered about 0.5seconds after the died. Would be nice to see the Heal/Res entire party and give a mission countdown. Same as in PvP.

Anet needs to learn its lesson. Bosses without elites should be at the end of missions. Bosses with elites shouldn't be at the end of missions. It's that simple.

Here's another possiblity, if you end a mission with a capture signet and you killed a boss, a pop up would show any capturable skills you can get when you get into town. If you have two signets, you can choose two skills and so on.

You can get WoH from any of the monk bosses in the crystal dessert missions. I got it pretty easily with my w/mo and henchies at Elbonia reach.

this whole topic reminds me of dragons lair problems. idiots ran in before i cud cap grenths, PLUS i had a scroll drop. didnt get either of em, and didnt even get a decent drop tho rest of mission. i agree tho, sumtimes anet dosnt think before they release/nerf things

That mission is totally doable with henchies. I know I did it. I can see your point though. I don't think it is a problem with the placement as much as it is a problem with the groups you get.

Personally I think the solution would be simple. Have the victory screen appear before the movies. You get like 30s of a victory screen to cap your skill. Then the movie starts and ends the mission.

The issue with dragon's lair is a little different. The triggers for the teleporters are no where near the actual teleport, causing people goin for loot to trigger when they should be in the clear. It triggered for me once when I was about 20 feet away. It's not a "cut scene triggers too early" kinda thing. But yea, still madly frustrating.

Bosses actually BELONG at the end of a mission. That you can't cap an elite from them before the cinematic starts, still sucks. Yes, that has to be changed.

If the elite can be got elsewhere, then this is not an issue. So I'd be happy if ANET simply changed it so that no elite is only obtainable in a mission area, unless it is a certian spawn that will not have a cutscene getting in the way.

awesome idea ...missed out on 2 skills tonight because of the cutscene started.

i always hated dragons lair when i would start a cap, and some leroy would run through the portal after I stated I needed to cap please, almost capped then the cutscene starts LOL...... :P

Good thing that the warrior boss is last, since I see no problem in leaving a group if someone stuffed you cap if you told them you wanted to cap before you started. Though I find that if a monk says they will leave if anyone misses their cap because of early portaling, people dont rush through the portals.

I have a Ritualist. Since I know I'd somehow never get the Ritualist boss to spawn during the mission, I go to the explorable area. I find and kill 7 constructs and clear the entire map (very annoying and time consuming with the useless henchies). Guess which construct wasn't there? Suprise suprise I lose either way. I hope the Ritualist Construct's elite isn't wonderful or something because I'll never be getting it.

I have had it.. For the 5th time trying to cap the elite from the ritualist boss at the end of sunjang.....Five times I have done this mission and on the sixth time he finally spawns.. and what happens as I am capping? The mesmer boss spikes me, And my cap sig takes FOREVER to recharge. Of course, he is already dying from a meteor shower.. scene cuts in.. No cap..

Uhm, you could always go into the EXPLORABLE sunjiang, as mentioned above, which has all of the bosses all at once thoughout the map for you to kill and cap from. No cutscene to worry about.
